One of the most perplexing things about Haitian culture is that when one person starts to get a little bit ahead someone else will come in and destroy their livelihood and drag them back down. It is happening in Merger with the goat project - one person (his own children in the project)has decided that it is getting too prosperous and has admittedly been doing little things like chasing goats into the road, but today 3 goats died from poisoning - 1 a project goat. WHY????
