This morning before church I got a phone call that wild dogs had gotten into a goat pen and killed 3 of the projet goats. By the time I got to Merger 2 more had died and one is injured. I set live traps to see if we can catch some dogs tonight. They will be going bye bye and we will be building a project corral for all the goats to sleep in at night. There are pros and cons to doing it this way and we had previously decided that it was best for them not to sleep together to try and cut down on the parasite burden and prevent the spread of disease. However theft and being eaten by dogs trumps that so I think we will be building a corral this next week. And I'm going to be hunting dog!

Hi Kelly - this is Georgeann. We met at CVM Short Course last August and I sent the two does you just received.
What is Haiti's policy on importing dogs? Have you explored the possibility of livestock guard dogs?
Let me know if there is something I can help with on this end.
And so sorry to hear about your truck. Glad you and the kids are okay.
