There is good and bad in every day. The good of today was that I pick up 5 goats from the children of Merger. These are the second babies and will go to other children in the future. Its so exciting to see the progress in the GKK program. But just like all projects where there are multiple people involved some are more keen than others to learn and change. When I picked up the babies I found 3 momma goats running loose. One of the fundamental things we are trying to change in the GKK project is not to let the goats run loose - they get stolen too easily if they are loose. All of the children know this and some just don't want to follow the rules. So today I was the bad guy and "kidnapped" the goats that were loose. The children have to come with their parents to a meeting on Sunday to talk with myself, Pastor Johnny and the trainers in order to get their goats back. Hopefully this will be a wake-up call to everyone that we mean business when we say the goats have to be kept tied up.
